• Media Advisory: PGCPS to Host 2017 Back-to-School Fair

    Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) will host the 7th Annual Back-to-School Fair to help families prepare for the upcoming school year. The event features a backpack giveaway (advance registration required), free immunizations, student services, vendors and more. PGCPS representatives will be on hand to share information about a variety of academic programs and support services.


    This year, PGCPS is partnering with the Negro League Legends Hall of Fame (NLLHF) to share the Bowie Baysox venue. NLLHF is hosting a classic car show that families can enjoy while attending the Back-to-School Fair. The group donated 5,000 free tickets to its baseball game that afternoon.
