• Media Advisory: PGCPS to Unveil 2017 Student Built House

    UPPER MARLBORO, MD – All school year, Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) students in the Foundation for Applied Construction Technology for Students (FACTS) program have worked tirelessly to build and design a brand new home. On May 11, they will showcase their skills at the unveiling of the 42nd Student Built House project.

    Students and instructors in FACTS and Career and Technology Education (CTE) programs, FACTS Board of Directors, site coordinators, elected officials, Board of Education Members, business partners and other special guests will attend the dedication ceremony. The event will celebrate student achievement in the construction trades, interior design and Cisco technology.

    Exemplary students will be recognized for their efforts through scholarship awards and special presentations from business partners and FACTS board members.
